Skyline Luge Sentosa offers a fast-paced adventure for anyone visiting the island. This attraction combines go-karting with tobogganing for a unique downhill experience. You can control your own gravity-powered cart as you navigate various scenic tracks. No previous experience is required to enjoy this thrill, making it a top choice for families and friends.

What Is Skyline Luge Sentosa?

The Skyline Luge originated in New Zealand before becoming a major highlight in Singapore. It provides an outdoor downhill ride where you manage your own speed through purpose-built tracks. These paths include tunnels, slopes, and sharp curves. Because it is safe and easy to handle, it appeals to both thrill-seekers and casual visitors.

The Skyride Experience

Your journey starts with the Skyride. This scenic chairlift carries you and your luge cart to the top of the hill. It spans 315 meters and offers panoramic views of the Singapore city skyline. Once you reach the summit, you can choose from four distinct tracks. These paths wind through the tropical forest of Sentosa.

Controlling the luge is very simple. You pull back on the handlebars to slow down or push forward to speed up. Most people learn the system within minutes. After reaching the bottom, you can head back to the Skyride for another round. Many guests prefer the Night Luge when the tracks glow with vibrant neon lights.

Explore the Four Thrilling Tracks

Skyline Luge Sentosa features over 2.6 kilometers of tracks. Each path offers a different challenge level and personality for riders.

  • Dragon Trail: This is the longest track at 688 meters. It features hairpin turns and long straights for those who enjoy technical challenges.

  • Expedition Trail: At 658 meters, this track includes exhilarating tunnels and tricky corners. It is designed specifically for adventure enthusiasts.

  • Kupu Kupu Trail: This 638-meter path offers a smoother and more scenic ride. It is the best option for beginners or families with small children.

  • Jungle Trail: This 628-meter track starts with a tunnel covered in greenery. It offers a fast flow with long straights and fun hairpin corners.

Tickets and Opening Hours

Luge rides are usually sold as a combo with the Skyride. Packages often start around SGD 30 for two rounds. The 4-ride combo is a popular choice for those wanting more track time. A Child Doubling ticket is available for SGD 12 for children under six years old. This allows them to ride safely in tandem with an adult.

The park typically opens at 11 AM every day. From Sunday to Thursday, it closes at 7:30 PM. On Fridays and Saturdays, the hours are extended until 9:30 PM. During school or public holidays, the park might open as early as 10 AM. You should book your tickets in advance to ensure your preferred time slot.

Location and Getting There

You can find the attraction near Imbiah Lookout and Siloso Beach. It sits close to other major spots like iFly Singapore. Getting there is easy using the Sentosa Express by stopping at Imbiah or Beach Station. Alternatively, you can take the Cable Car to Imbiah Lookout. Those who prefer walking can use the Sentosa Boardwalk from VivoCity.
